COMPANY HISTORY

Our Company has been manufacturing and marketing fine amphibious aircraft worldwide for over fifty years.  Its founders came from the successful design teams at Republic Aircraft and Grumman Corporation and, as a matter of fact, one of the original founders is still involved in engineering and production of today's MULTI-MISSION AMPHIBIANS.

With its origins rooted in such great amphibious aircraft as the Goose, Widgeon, Mallard and Albatross, The Company initially flew its first model, the Skimmer, in 1948.  The Skimmer was later certified in the early 1950's as the first in a series of successful boat hulled amphibious aircraft.  In the ensuing years, new models with higher horsepower and greater cabin capacity were introduced; each one building on the success of its predecessor and introducing improvements in operational capability.

The Company continues to produce two commercial models:  The SEAFURY, a six place, 250 horsepower single-engine model certified in 1983 and the TURBO SEAFURY, a four place, 270 horsepower single-engine model powered by the Lycoming TIO-540 AA1AD engine, an aircraft ideally suited to high density altitude operational areas, certified in 1987.  To date over 1300 aircraft have been built and distributed worldwide.  These aircraft, the only single engine boat-hulled amphibians in production in the world today, are also supported directly by us.  The Company has historically provided factory-direct product support for our AMPHIBIANS.  This product support coupled with factory flight training and maintenance is available to every aircraft purchaser.

Our Company drew on fifty years of proven design, production and product support to develop a multi-role, special mission amphibian.  This aircraft, designated the SEAWOLF and introduced to the world at the Paris Air Show, was designed to meet the various and complex requirements of government and rescue organizations in a cost effective manner.

The Company maintains two support facilities, one in New Hampshire and one in Florida.
